Wellington, Fla. - Feb. 16, 2018 - American Equus, the designer and manufacturer of premium stirrups, spurs and horse shoes is proud to announce two new partnerships with professional polo players, Jared Sheldon and Matt Coppola.
Matt Coppola, a 4-goal player, is quickly making his way up the polo ranks. The Wellington native works alongside his famous father, Tony Coppola, in breeding, training and selling of polo ponies. Since becoming a professional, Coppola has used his passion for horses and the sport to become one of the most exciting young polo players to watch, playing for such teams as Mayer Ranch, Mt. Brilliant and Tackeria.

"I am very excited to be representing American Equus. I love my stirrups - the grip is outstanding and I am really impressed with how light they are," commented Coppola.
Polo professional Jared Sheldon is also carries a 4-goal handicap and actively competes in California, Texas, and New York. Presently he calls Eldorado Polo Club in Indio, California, home and plays in the 8-goal for Team Remax and in the 12-goal for Antelope Polo. Sheldon has kicked off the 2018 winter season with an impressive win in Carlton and Kelly Beal 12-Goal tournament held at Eldorado Polo Club.

I now feel like I am wearing cleats and can lock my feet into the position I want them and know they are going to stay there. This has definitely brought a new feel to my saddles."
