Meet Crosby Wood, born and raised in Chester County, PA. Crosby began riding his pony Payoff as a toddler and spent many years fox hunting with the Brandywine Fox Hunt. At age 11 he discovered bike polo and used to play it for hours with his Dad on the front lawn where he grew up in Northbrook. A year later, he was introduced to polo at the Brandywine Polo Club, which began a lifelong passion for the sport. In November of 2019, Crosby competed on Team USA in the World Bike Polo Championships held at Palermo in Argentina. Today Crosby is a talented polo player with 3 polo ponies and several tournament wins at Brandywine Polo including the McHugh and Richie Jones Memorial. Crosby and his wife Nancy have two kids, reside in the Unionville hunt country, and run a real estate investment firm focused on the redevelopment of Coatesville. Watch for Crosby on the polo field and in the Malvern Bank Arena this 2023 season in his navy helmet with an orange brim
